Sam tipped his head down to see her expression when she said what she did. "Supposed to. Should I take that to mean that you didn't?" Or that she hadn't come of age yet, but he really hoped that wasn't the case, unless Fae didn't come of age until they were...a lot older than he didn't want to think about her being.
